Overwhelmed with life and not sure what to do?
This short, friendly course helps you make sense of what’s going on and take small, doable steps this week.
With 14 bite-size videos and a fill-as-you-go workbook, you’ll create a simple plan that works for you, at your own pace!
Educational program by a registered psychologist. Not therapy or crisis care.
Hi, I'm Kate!
I’m a registered psychologist based in Melbourne, Australia (originally from New Zealand).
I created Navigating Overwhelm because so many people were saying, “I’m drowning, I don’t even know where to start.” Therapy isn’t always accessible right away, and some people simply want clear guidance they can try on their own.
This course is my way of giving you the foundations, plus simple steps you can start this week, without pressure or perfection.
What you can expect from me:
-
No jargon, no fluff. Just straightforward explanations.
-
Small, doable actions. Skills you can test in real life.
-
Compassion first. You don’t need to be “fixed” to begin.

This is an educational program, not therapy or a crisis service. If you need personalised care, please see your GP or local services; for urgent help in Australia, call 000 or Lifeline 13 11 14.

Great fit if… you’re feeling overwhelmed, you want clear guidance without therapy right now, and you like learning in small steps.
Not ideal if… you need personalised support, risk management, or crisis care; therapy or medical care would be more appropriate so please seek out support for this.
