When Anxiety Becomes Too Much to Carry on Your Own

You might look like you’re coping on the outside, but inside it’s a different story.

Racing thoughts, tight chest, never-ending pressure to get it all right. Therapy can help you find your way through.

Anxiety is one of the most common reasons people come to therapy and yet it often makes you feel like you’re the only one struggling.

You might feel constantly on edge, second-guessing yourself, or stuck in a loop of overthinking and overwhelm. Maybe you’re avoiding things, feeling physically tense, or finding it hard to sleep.

Whether your anxiety shows up as racing thoughts, people-pleasing, perfectionism, shutdowns, or panic, it’s not “just in your head.” Your brain and body are doing their best to protect you, albeit in an unhelpful way.

In our sessions, we’ll explore how anxiety shows up for you; mentally, emotionally, physically. We'll work together to:

  • Understand your triggers and patterns

  • Learn tools to manage spirals, overthinking, and panic

  • Set boundaries and shift unhelpful thinking patterns

  • Explore what matters to you, not just what you “should” be doing

You don’t need to wait until things get worse. Whether your anxiety is new or something you’ve lived with for years, therapy can offer space to breathe and find ways to work through it.
