When Life Doesn’t Feel Like It’s Going to Plan

You’re not broken, you're in transition.

Whether you're navigating your 20s, 30s, or beyond, big shifts can leave you feeling lost, stuck, or like you missed the memo on how to be an adult. Therapy can help you make sense of what’s next.

Maybe you’ve ticked all the boxes, study, job, relationship, but still feel unfulfilled. Or maybe you're in a total state of flux: new job, moving cities, questioning relationships, wondering if this is really the life you want.

You might be feeling stuck between who you were and who you're becoming. These kinds of transitions can bring up grief, self-doubt, anxiety, or a deep sense of "what now?"

You're not failing. You're just in a messy middle that no one prepares us for.

Life transitions often stir up deep questions about identity, direction, and meaning. In therapy, we create space to:

  • Explore your values and what actually matters to you

  • Untangle people-pleasing, perfectionism, or identity struggles

  • Sit with uncertainty without needing to “figure it all out” immediately

  • Let go of unhelpful expectations or timelines

  • Reconnect with self-trust and emotional resilience

Together, we’ll make sense of what’s working, what’s not, and where to go from here. I use evidence-based approaches like ACT and CBT, but our work is always shaped by you and your needs.

I acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land where I work and live. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging. I celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders and of all communities who also work and live on this land. I also acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land where I come from in Aotearoa New Zealand and pay my respects to the Māori people and their culture and traditions.
